We are delighted to announce the start of our Walking Football and PAN Disability sessions under Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC and Community Reds at end of October.
The club will be running weekly sessions for all abilities over the age of 16 to be held at our training venues and Old Road for the forthcoming season and beyond.
The initiative falls in line with the clubs Equal Opportunities Policy to provide ‘Access for All’ and is an exciting new chapter for the organisation.
We will now target funding avenues to become sustainable over the coming years and aim to grow interest with nearly 30 players already expressing interest in joining our first session at Old Road on Sunday October 29th.
The group will be split into ability categories- ‘Competition’, ‘Mixed open for all’ and ‘PAN Disability’ teams run by qualified staff and coaches and will be affiliated to the Welsh Walking Football Federation.
