Captain Rory Healey(pic) who was superb throughout
Briton Ferry Llansawel returned from Undy with a hard earned and valuable point in Welsh League Division One.
Manager Carl Shaw was dealt a number of blows with midweek withdrawals of Kristian James, Tom Da Silva, Steven Hughes and Gareth Jones as well as first choice keeper Luke Probert still out through injury.
A superb team effort though saw the team lead at half time after playing with a strong wind with two excellent efforts, midfielder Scott Tomlinson scored a left foot half volley from the edge of the area on 30 minutes and young forward Tyler Brock finished instinctively from a Tomlinson assist from the edge of the box before half time after Gareth Cullimore had given the hosts an early lead with a great header.
Undy then had a perfect start to the second half when Dan Jarman scored from close range after Griffiths had pulled off a point blank save from a corner.
A spirited team defensive effort saw Sawel hold on though against the extreme conditions and even had a chance to win it at the end but captain Rory Healey's effort sailed over the bar with only the keeper to beat.
A late dampener was the sending off for Sam Baker after a second yellow card with what was the last attack of the game, the full back will now miss Tuesdays game at Goytre Utd.
M.O.M.- Scott Tomlinson- The midfielder was superb alongside Healey in the engine room all game but wins the award with a goal and an assist.
