Briton Ferry Llansawel FC are delighted to welcome Tom Walters to the club as the new Chief Executive.
It is the first time in its history the club has appointed such a role and Tom will start his duties immediately. Tom will work closely with Chairman Wyn Evans and the Board over the next few months to implement a new structure within the club in line with the club’s development plan and vision. It is envisaged that the club will announce several new appointments in the lead up to the 2025/26 season as it continues its path of continuous improvement both on and off the field.
Chairman Wyn Evans expressed his enthusiasm about the appointment of Tom:
"I’m absolutely delighted to welcome someone of Tom’s calibre into such a vital role within the club. He comes highly recommended and is widely respected—not only within football circles through his work with the West Wales Football Association and the Football Association of Wales, but also in his professional career outside the game.
It’s clear that Tom possesses the skills and experience to be a tremendous asset to the club. As we conclude our first-ever season in the Welsh Premier League, it has become evident from the lessons learned that maintaining our position—and growing to compete at the highest level in both the men’s and women’s game—requires a full review and restructure.
Tom will lead this process, ensuring we establish a strong, forward-looking structure that supports our continued development. I truly believe the club has a fantastic future ahead. This marks the beginning of what we hope will be a very exciting and productive summer."
