Its been a few months to forgot for the Reds with only one draw and six losses in all competitions since their 5-0 win against Ton Pentre in November.

The poor run of results started with a 4-1 derby loss at Afan Lido in the beginning of December, a single goal from Luke Harris nowhere near enough to deserve anything from the game.

That was followed by a better performance at home to Welsh Premier team Llandudno in the Welsh Cup eventually losing 3-2 with goals from Tyler Brock and Gavin Jones.

Back to the league then with the visit of high flyers Haverfordwest saw an excellent first half performance at 0-0 followed by a bad second half seeing the visitors leave with a 3-0 win.

There was a good end to 2018 though with one of the seasons best performances at home to unbeaten leaders Penybont, Tyler Brock and an own goal looked like to be enough before a 90th minute equaliser give Penybont a point in a 2-2 draw.

January started with an extremely disappointing 2-0 home loss to Undy before a 3-2 defeat at Goytre Utd with goals from Ian Hillier and Gav Jones, the Reds also finishing the game with 9 men with Rory Healey and Luke Harris both sent off.

Finally last week a 2-1 loss at fellow strugglers Port Talbot raised concerns that the season could now see the Reds entangled in a relegation battle if performances and results dont change.

They have the chance to stop the rot this Saturday when they visit Cwmbran Celtic.

PLAYER OF THE MONTH

IAN HILLIER(pic right)

Difficult one with the bad run of form but Hillier is sure to give 100% every game also a few goals to his name in the spell.
