Fab Four for Reds - Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC

Gareth Jones(pic) got the second goal against the Blues

Briton Ferry Llansawel AFC completed a memorable month for the club by defeating local neighbours Port Talbot 5-2 at the Old Road on Friday evening.

The win made it four wins out of four in February with three local derbies and a top of the league team being the victims in Haverfordwest, Afan Lido, Goytre Utd and Port Talbot.

With confidence brimming going into the game goals from Tom Da Silva, Gareth Jones, Tyler Brock and a Steve Davey brace made it a pretty comfortable evening for the Reds.

The visitors were hampered in their team selection with the suspension of player manager Cortez Belle but did show glimpses of attacking promise in their youthful team and found goals through Patrick Finneral and a Craig Jones penalty.

For Sawel consistency in selection in 2018 is proving that the talent is within the club and maybe finally potential is starting to be filled within Carl Shaw's squad.

Next up for the Reds is the trip to Cwmbran Celtic this Saturday March 3rd for a 2pm kick off.
